Woodberry is a neighborhood directly north of the Druid Hill Park, home of the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. The northern part of the neighborhood is dominated by Cold Spring Park and the Woodberry. Jones Falls and the Jones Falls Trail run through this large green space and played a major role in the 1700s. Around this time Baltimore built mills that lead them to become a leading manufacturer of flour and cotton. Today, these preserved mills have been transformed into restaurants, apartments, and other commercial buildings. While searching for a rental, you’ll find industrial-chic condos, studios, and mid-rise apartments, plus Baltimore’s classic brick row houses.
